His Excellency desires me to inform you that the site will be immediately to the South of the mat shed now in use, and that, as soon as the proposed plan is ready, it must be submitted to His Excellency for approbation. No interments will be allowed to take place either in the body of the Church or the ground reserved around it.

His Excellency, the Governor in Council has engaged, on the part of Her Majesty's Government, to grant £6000 towards the erection of a Church in this Colony, provided that the Public subscribe to the amount of £3000, and in the same proportion to grant any less than £6000, being the amount of voluntary subscriptions.
Subscribers are requested to add their names to the accompanying list, and to make payment to some one of the Members or Secretaries of the Committee or Subscribers.
